History

2008

Jasubhai Digital Media, the IT publishing arm of the Group, with brands such as Digit, The CTO Forum and SKAOR was sold to 9dot9 Mediaworks, as Company promoted by Dr. Pramath Sinha.

2007

Jasubhai Foundation signs a MoU with the National Center for Performing Arts (NCPA) to create and promote the first Institute for Music Appreciation and Training for Classical Music.

2006

Jasubhai Engineering opens a major manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali free trade zone in Dubai. This facility would provide Instrumentation Panel manufacturing services and Engineering & Automation Services for the entire Middle East Region.

2005

Jasubhai Media launches three new initiatives under the Chemtech Foundation. 1. The Indian Forum for Good Clinical Practice (InFo-GCP); 2. Indian Drug Discovery Network International (Indi-NET); 3. Indo-Global Partnership in Manufacturing Services. (Indo-MAPS).

2003

As the needs of the Industry shifts from advertising to customized marketing solutions, The Jasubhai Media Group creates a major thrust for providing comprehensive marketing services to the "Vertical" Industries it serves through its media offerings. Marketing 2.0 – What works now!

2002

Launched a major "Services" initiative. With a formidable competence and track record of creating and developing strong content, Jasubhai Digital Media initiates a new venture: Type i – Content Services for Business. From Customized Content Solutions to eLearning Courseware development, Type i provides complete Technology as well as Content Solutions for Business across the globe. (www.typei.com )

2000

Extending beyond a print media to the online space, Jasubhai Interactive (a joint venture of Jasubhai Digital Media and ZDNetIndia.com) was started to promote ZDNetIndia.com. Today, the site is India's premier technology portal with over three million hits every month and is the leading source fot technology features and news with an Indian context.

1998

Jasubhai Digital Media entered the technology publications market with the present-day Digit, the technology navigator for end users. Within a year, two other magazines- Computer Reseller News (for the channel industry) and Network Computing for network administrators were launched.

1990

Joint ventures in the field of material handling systems and industry burner systems led to the formation of JRSL and JCL.

1981

Fisher-Rosemount India, a joint venture between the JS group and Rosemount Inc., a subsidiary of Emerson Electric, USA (a Fortune 500 company) was incorporated as a process instrumentation and plant automation solutions provider. Fisher-Rosemount's network in India spans 23 sales offices, one national service centre, 6 regional service centers and an ISO 9001 accredited process instrumentation manufacturing facility at Daman.

1975

The CHEMTECH FOUNDATION started with CHEMTECH 75, an international tradde fair for process engineering industries. Its focus areas are technology and trade-flow catalysis, encouragement of R & D initiative and management of environmental issues.

1966

Chemical Engineering World (a trade magazine for the chemical industry) marked the first venture of Jasubhai Group into the area of publications and industry process.
